Here are some Club Penguin News for Kids :) GeoPalz Teams up with Disney’s Club Penguin to Offer New Activity Tracker!
By using the Club Penguin-branded iBitz wearable game peripheral, Club Penguin players will be able to convert their athletic activity into virtual coins and exclusive content within the Club Penguin world. The Club Penguin iBitz activity tracker will be available for purchase in fall 2013, just in time for kids to wear when they go back to school.
GeoPalz users who purchase the Club Penguin iBitz wearable game peripheral will receive a free 2-week membership to explore Club Penguin.
“By connecting the GeoPalz Eco-System of activity driven games, rewards and prizes with one of the largest communities for kids, we hope to encourage millions more families to be active,” said Rich Schmelzer, CEO of GeoPalz. “It has been inspiring to work with Nike and Disney the past few months to bring together fitness activities that kids will love.”
"By rewarding kids for being active in the real world, we are encouraging a healthy balance between screen time and active time,” said Chris Heatherly, Vice President and General Manager, Disney Interactive Worlds. “When kids see their friends with exclusive rewards they can only get for being active, we hope it will inspire them to get active too.”
…I already own a pedometer so I don’t need another one and I’m active with an average of 19,368 steps a day :)
