Coins for Change 2009 :) Official Club Penguin Information!

Celebrate Change
For the third consecutive year, Club Penguin is encouraging its players to make a difference in the lives of others by donating Coins for Change.
Between December 11 and 21, players can donate coins they earn playing games on Club Penguin to support kids who are sick, kids who are poor or the environment. Each donation is a vote to decide how a $1 million cash donation will be shared by organizations working to make the world a better place.
Support Valuable Projects
Donations to kids who are sick will help provide health care and medical treatment.
By choosing kids who are poor our players support a nutrition program and a peace centre to educate children displaced by war and conflict.
Giving coins to the environment will help educate and encourage other kids to protect the world’s wildlife and the places they call home.
Explore New Ways to Give
Players can visit one of several donation stations around the island or buy one for their igloo and invite their penguin friends to a fundraising bash. Kids can also attend a special fundraising concert at the Lighthouse, and even visit the "Fun Activities" section to check out suggestions on things they can do in their own community to make a difference.
Results will be announced December 24th!

That doesn't say how virtual coins help the real world at all, it just says who you can donate to and places you can donate and why. I'm still confused about how virtual coins help the real world!
Hi Anonymous This is how it works :) Club Penguin donate $1 million REAL Money :) Each donation we do in Club Penguin is a vote to decide how this REAL Money will be shared by organizations working to make the world a better place :) So We Decide WHO get the Money and how MUCH of it they get! Thats why EVERY Coin Counts :)
And how about Cambodia?
Oh thanks saraapril! By the way, its limerider22. I dont really see you online much, when ever I see you you log off immediately.. :( So, can we maybe meet each other on today? Like maybe 6:00 p.m. on yukon? (Central time) Im non-member now, but I can still have fun on club penguin! If your time zone doesn't go that way and you cant come than mabye you can set up a meeting or something (like a friend meeting lol :P) We can go around sending people hats, and then we can get our bells and ask people to donate, and we can try to find rockhopper! We can also help get ready for the Christmas party!
