Puffle Pal Adventures Music Makes Magic :) Club Penguin Holiday Book :)

This is The Third of Three Club Penguin Christmas Books :) This Book is from The Book Room at Christmas Party 2008 :) Let’s have More HAPPY Story Reading Times :)

Puffle Pal Adventures Music Making Magic :)

Puffle Pal Adventures Music Magic :)

Tips: Try to click on the ‘O’ berry many times and you get messages like “You have picked an ‘O’ berry!”, “You have enough berries for now.” or “’O’ berries are best picked by flipper.” (This works ONLY if The Book is in Club Penguin Online :) Let’s start to Read :)

Puffle Pal Adventures Music Magic :)

The snow was falling softly and silently as Flit came upon the massive tree in the middle of the Forest. It was Christmas Eve, and, like all other Puffles in the wild, he’d been looking forward to the annual Christmas carol sing-along.

His eyes found the light from a shining star as it caught the side of an O’berry, and Flit felt a wonderful idea begin to form. What if he decorated the giant tree? What if he covered it with O’berries and surprised his Puffle pals?

The determined green Puffle used his trusty propeller to gather O’berries and transport them up, up,

…and all around the tree. As he worked, he smiled, thinking of how amazed his friends would be when they arrived to sing. He was, after all, always getting the gang into trouble with his endless adventure-seeking ways. Decking out their majestic song tree would be a wonderful way to let his best pals know how much they meant to him.

He worked for a long time. Finally, as he was lifting the very last O’berry to the highest point of the tree, his propeller got caught in the snow. Without warning, Flit was absolutely stuck. He was poking sideways from the tree, unable to move. Just a few moments passed before he heard his pals down below.

Puffle Pal Adventures Music Magic :)

“Arr. I’d bet a box of Puffle-O’s our matey Flit was tryin’ to find an adventure, again,” Blast growled, turning even more red than usual.  “Shiver me timbers! We can’t be late for the singin’.”

A crooked smile spread over Flare’s dark face. “Chill. The dude’s an explorer. He might get into some trouble, yeah. But he’s cool. Would any of us bother to seek out ‘adventures’? Life is fly with that Flit around. We gotta find him. Like pronto!”

“Hey! Up here!” But Flit was so high, they couldn’t hear him. He wondered if he’d be stuck there all night. At least he’d be able to sing with his pals – even if they didn’t hear him.

“Wow! Gorgeous! Look at the tree! The O’berries. Amazing!” Chirp, the yellow artistic

Puffle Pal Adventures Music Magic :)

…Puffle, began to imagine the artistic possibilities. “I’d love to paint that!” As she reached for her canvas, something wiggling at the top caught her eye. “Umm.  Everyone! Look at the tree ornament at the very top. It’s not an O’berry. It’s green… It’s… It’s…”

“IT’S FLIT!” All the Puffles looked up. The snowy silence filled with laughter. “What are you doing up there all stuck? And sideways!? Our Christmas caroling starts soon! Come down!”

They could hear Flit’s faint laughter. “The snow is gluing me here. I can’t move!”

Loop started to laugh all over again. Her pink body shook the ground. “Wait! What if Flare makes a small flame?

Puffle Pal Adventures Music Magic :)

…Then the snow will slowly melt and Flit will fall down in time for the songs.” She was pleased with herself for the idea, because Bouncer usually had all the ideas that saved Flit.

“I’ll do it.” Flare looked everywhere, but the O’berry trees were bare. “It was a sweet thought, my friend. But Flit’s used all the O’berries as decorations! We’re gonna need some magic.”

Bouncer, blue and determined, spoke up. “Your idea was excellent, Loop. Too bad Flit was so thorough with the O’berries.” Her gaze fell to Flare. “I don’t think we’ll need magic – but maybe a bit of music! It’s time for another Plan Puffle,” she declared.  “We’ll have to work together if we’re going to get him down before the singing begins.” And after a moment of thought, she smiled a giant smile. “We’ll send out a  message!

Puffle Pal Adventures Music Magic :)

…We’ll get plenty of Puffles here ahead of time for a singing warm-up. We’ll use our voices to shake the Forest. The tree will move and Flit will be free. He’ll float down in time for the official Christmas singing festivities.”

“Shiver me timbers! Float down?! He’ll plop in the snow like a sack of gold. How are we going ta’ get the message to enough Puffles?” Blast asked.

Soon, the purple Puffle, Pop, was blowing massive bubbles, and Chirp was putting her sing-song voice inside each one. Flare flipped his skateboard, transforming it into a snowboard, and started through the Forest. Every so often, he threw Pop’s bubbles up in the air and Chirp’s voice escaped when they burst…

“Christmas Carol practice! Every Puffle to the song tree!” Soon, Puffles started to arrive.

Puffle Pal Adventures Music Magic :)

…All of them marveled at the beauty of the decorated tree. Flit smiled when he heard what they said.

“It’s so beautiful….”

“What a thoughtful thing for someone to do….”

And as the practicing began, the notes from their songs carried up and swirled around; the sound waves just powerful enough to shake the snow from the tip of the tree and free Flit.

Just before the official Christmas carol festivities were about to begin, he found himself in a snow pile surrounded by his best Puffle pals. He looked at all of them and smiled. “You’re such a trouble maker,” Pop said.

Puffle Pal Adventures Music Magic :)

“Ye got us all shook up,” Blast added.

“Your tree is rad,” Flare grinned as much as he ever had.

Flit winked, his propeller turning once again, and he joined the circle around the tree. “Merry Christmas, Puffle pals.”

This is The Second of Three Club Penguin Christmas Books :) This Book is from The Book Room at Christmas Party 2008 :) Let’s have More Story Reading Times :)

Christmas on Rockhopper Island :)

                         Christmas on Rockhopper Island :)

Christmas on Rockhopper Island :)

So there I was, sailin’ me Migrator on the open seas in the winter of ‘05.  The sprays of seawater were cold as ice, and the winds were restless in me sails. I had a cargo hold full of surfboards, rescued from the clutches of a giant sea cucumber, and I was headin’ on a direct course for Rockhopper Island.

Though it was a fine day for sailin’, me heart hung heavy in me chest. It had been over nine months since I had last laid eyes on Club Penguin, and it seemed I might never set foot on it again. With Christmas only a week away, I realized I had never spent it away from the island. Arr, I was homesick!

The sound of Yarr squeaking up a storm woke me from my daydreamin’. He was bouncing around the crow’s nest…

Christmas on Rockhopper Island :)

…like he had had too much sugar.

“Avast Yarr! What see ye ahead?” I called up to him. He squeaked twice, did a back flip, and stuck his tongue out at me. That meant he had spotted Rockhopper Island.

“Land ho!” I called back, takin’ the helm. “Man the mizzenmast, and batten down the hatches! We be at Rockhopper Island before night fall!”

Soon I spotted the island’s volcano mountain stickin’ out of the ocean. I steered the Migrator straight for it, aimin’ for the place where I kept me booty. Yarr disappeared below deck and returned with a surfboard, givin’ me the biggest pair of puppy-dog eyes he could manage.

Ahoy! Ye don’t need my permission to go surfin’, ye blimey rascal. I told ye to keep one o’ them boards for yerself.”

Christmas on Rockhopper Island :)

…Yarr squeaked his thanks, and leapt overboard. He had been keen on the surfboards since we got them, and he was quickly becomin’ a pro.

Navigatin’ through treacherous reefs and rocks, I sailed the Migrator into a hidden place leadin’ to Rockhopper Cave. I can’t tell ye exactly where me cave is, ‘cause it wouldn’t be a secret then, but I can tell ye it be hard to find.

That’s important to know for the next part of me story.

I sailed into the cave, which was lit by the glow of lava from the volcano, and dropped anchor. I was expecting to see me treasure hoard glimmering as…

Christmas on Rockhopper Island :)

…I made to disembark, but there was no gold to be seen! Arr! What be the meanin’ o’ this?!” I bellowed, as I swung from a line onto shore. Sure enough, the great pile of gold and treasure I had collected was gone! “Avast! Me treasure’s been plundered!”

I was so flustered I nearly stomped on me hat, but then I noticed a single golden doubloon on the ground. “Yo ho ho! What have we here?

The scallywags have left a trail of me treasure. I’ll find ’em yet!”

So I followed the trail of coins out into the jungles of Rockhopper Island. I crept through the rainforest, over bogs and under logs, keepin’

Christmas on Rockhopper Island :)

…me eyes open for the glimmer  of gold. I walked clear across the island, fillin’ me hat as I went, until I came upon a beach.

There I made a startlin’ discovery. Hundreds of red fur balls, just like Yarr, bouncin’ around and playin’ with me gold! I never even knew they were livin’ on me island!

I quickly waddled onto the beach. “Ahoy, ye feisty fur balls! What ye be doin’ with me treasure?!”

Christmas on Rockhopper Island :)

…I must have  sounded a bit scary, because the whole lot of them squeaked in surprise and bolted, leavin’ me treasure behind.

I piled up all me gold, knowin’ they were watchin’ me from the bushes. Once I had it all gathered up, I made me way back to me cave. There be so much treasure, I would need the Migrator to ship it all back.

When I got there, Yarr bounced up to me, lookin’ confused. “Arr! Come with me, Yarr. We’ve got some treasure to haul back.”

We sailed around to the beach and dropped anchor. Me pile of gold was still there on the beach, untouched. I lowered me lifeboat into the water, and started rowin’ for shore.

“Looks like there’s a whole…

Christmas on Rockhopper Island :)

…herd of creatures, just like ye livin’ here, Yarr,” I grumbled. They mistook me treasure for toys.” But Yarr didn’t squeak anythin’ back. He looked a little unhappy.

When we reached shore, I tied off me boat and started fillin’ it. I noticed Yarr wasn’t helpin’, but was starin’ into the bushes. I spotted one of the furry creatures there, which quickly disappeared. “Come along Yarr.”

When we got back to the Migrator, I started unloadin’,and Yarr disappeared below deck. After a few minutes, he reappeared, hauling a few surfboards with him. He set them down next to me and stared with his big puppy-dog eyes.

“Arr! I forgot the hold was full of surfboards. We might need two trips to get it all… What be ye  wantin’, Yarr?”

Christmas on Rockhopper Island :)

…His eyes got even bigger, and I knew what he was after. #Ye want me to give ’em me surfboards? Why? They took me treasure without even askin’!”

That was when Yarr nudged something toward me. It was a calendar. On it, Yarr had circled something. Christmas Day was only a week away.

I looked at it for a few moments. Then I smiled and said, “Maybe we won’t need two trips after all. Arr! Come on Yarr, help me haul these surfboards to shore.” We did just that, and after a few encouraging squeaks from Yarr, the whole herd of creatures  bounced out of the forest to inspect our gifts. They were so excited!

Christmas on Rockhopper Island :)

…They raised such a ruckus, and Yarr taught them all to surf. I even unloaded a few barrels of cream soda to celebrate.

I had me first Christmas on Rockhopper Island with a hundred new squeaky friends. And though I still missed Club Penguin, I had a great time that I’ll remember for the rest of me days.

Christmas Holiday Party in Club Penguin 2009 is HERE :)

A Penguin Christmas Carol :) Club Penguin Holiday Book :)

This is The First of Three Club Penguin Christmas Books :) This Book is from The Book Room at Christmas Party 2008 :) Let’s have a Story Reading Time :)

A Penguin Christmas Carol

                              A Penguin Christmas Carol :)

A Penguin Christmas Carol

Scrooge was a miserly penguin. No doubt about that. His days were spent working in the Pizza Parlor and his nights counting coins in his igloo.

“A Merry Christmas to you, Scrooge!” said his chef, Bob Crackern, from the kitchen.Bah, humbug!” muttered Scrooge. Tomorrow was Christmas Day, the only holiday that Scrooge gave Crackern off. "You’ll want all day off, I suppose?” Scrooge grumbled.

“Merry Christmas, Sir.”

“Hrumph. Merry Christmas indeed,” he scorned as he locked the till for the day. Hard a heart and sharp a temper had this penguin. Even in The Plaza, few stopped to say hello. When he did get an invite to an igloo party,he walked on.He ignored everything these days -even friend requests.

A Penguin Christmas Carol

…The night was bitter cold. Since Scrooge wouldn’t spend coins on a heater, he ate his dinner alone and chilled. When a noise like thunder struck his igloo, Scrooge rubbed his eyes in disbelief; A ghostly penguin appeared before him.

“I know you! You’re Jacob Mukluk’s ghost!” Scrooge cried, My old business partner from the Pizza Parlor. What do you want from me?”

“Scrooge, all that used to matter to me were my coins,” moaned Mukluk. “And now I’m miserable because I was mean. You’re missing so much fun on the island. It’s time to change your ways. You will be visited by three spirits. Listen to them! Do what they say! The first will visit you at 1pm PST.”

A Penguin Christmas Carol

…At the Snow Forts, a penguin threw a snowball at the Penguin Clock as it struck 1. From his igloo, Scrooge trembled as a strange ghostly figure appeared. I am the spirit of Christmas Past. Step out of your igloo and back in time.”

As Scrooge left his igloo, he walked into a snowstorm of last year’s Christmas. Scrooge saw himself having fun and joining in a snowball fight with other penguins. “That’s Smulley, and Sunneroo… and there… It’s Bambadee! Oh, I remember it so well, spirit, and what fun we all had together…” They stood and watched, and Scrooge remembered the good times he used to have with his friends.

A Penguin Christmas Carol

…The next thing he knew, Scrooge was standing back in his igloo. And again, the Penguin Clock struck 1, as if not a moment had passed. Dressed in green and with a holly garland, the next ghost appeared. “I am the Ghost of the Christmas Present,” it boomed. “Take my flipper and hold on tight.” Stepping out of the igloo, they flew above the island. From the Lighthouse to the Iceberg, everywhere they stopped they saw penguins celebrating Christmas.

A Penguin Christmas Carol

…Penguins were decorating Christmas trees, dancing, and donating their coins to Coins For Change. “I want to help kids who aren’t as lucky as me,” said one.

“I want to save the planet!” yelled another. Scrooge felt a tear coming to his eye. Some of the penguins didn’t have many coins at all, but they wanted to make a difference.

In the midst of all the celebrations, Scrooge witnessed a familiar penguin called Tiny Fin whisper, “Poor Scrooge –he never has fun any more.”

“Poor Scrooge?” muttered another. “It’s his own fault for being so mean.” And although they couldn’t see him, Scrooge hung his head in shame.

A Penguin Christmas Carol

…It started to snow heavily, and Scrooge found himself quite alone in the Snow Forts. He looked to the clock and beneath it stood yet another penguin figure, dressed all in black. Are you the Ghost of Christmas Future?” asked Scrooge. The spirit didn’t reply, but just raised a flipper. Scrooge trembled.Lead on then,” he said.

The ghost led Scrooge to the Iceberg where it showed him a sad little lonely penguin sitting all alone. Scrooge recognized this penguin at once – it was himself. Please tell me I can change what I have seen?” asked Scrooge. The figure nodded and then vanished.

A Penguin Christmas Carol

…Scrooge could hear shouts of Merry Christmas” outside his igloo, and he smiled as he realized he was back home in the present time. “There’s so much to do!” He first rushed to his Better Igloos catalog and found some beautiful Christmas decorations for his igloo.

Next, he opened his Penguin Mail and sent Christmas messages to his old friends. Finally, his thoughts turned to the small penguins at the Snow Forts. “I’ll give the rest of my coins to Coins For Change,”said Scrooge, and set off outside.

As he walked, he saw Bob Crackern and Tiny Fin. To his own surprise, a very holiday feeling washed over him and he found himself grabbing their flippers and walking to the Night Club for a holiday dance.

The next day, Bob Crackern was late for work at the Pizza Parlor. And upon arriving, he stepped…

A Penguin Christmas Carol

…nervously inside. “Sc-Scrooge, I’m so sorry,” he stammered.

Crackern, I won’t have any more of this!” yelled Scrooge. And then with a hearty laugh, he added, I’m hiring more staff, so you won’t need to work so hard! And I’m giving you a raise!” Bob Crackern couldn’t believe it.

“Merry Christmas to one and all!” said Scrooge. And true to his word, he made penguins happy around the island, and even helped raise many coins for those less fortunate than himself – at Christmas, and at all times.

The End
