Outdoor Activities :)

THE KING SAYS

You Will Need

Lots of space
4 or more friends
Pieces of paper
A pen
A bag
Your imagination!

How to play:

  1. Get your friends together and think up lots of “medieval activities” (for example: horse riding, bowing to the king, juggling like a jester, dancing at the royal ball in the castle, being a fire-breathing dragon). You’ll need quite a few!
  2. Write them all down on the pieces of paper and put them in a bag.
  3. Choose one player to be the king for the first round. This person will pull a piece of paper and yell: THE KING SAYS…  and then read the activity. For example: “THE KING SAYS… ride a hours!”
  4. All the other players have to use their imagination and do the activity.
  5. The player who delivers the best performance (all of you get to vote on one winner) gets to be the king the next round.
  6. Remember to be a kind king – make sure everyone gets a turn. And maybe your royal subjects even deserve some Royal Punch served in Royal Puffle Goblets!
