How can I clear my cache? Disney Club Penguin has updated their answer to this question :)

If you're asked to clear your cache, it means your computer is logging into an out-of-date version of Club Penguin. You'll need to clear your cache to connect to the newest version.

First, find out what web browser you are using. The name of your browser will be on the icon that you click on when you connect to the internet. Once you know your web browser, follow the directions below.

If you use Internet Explorer 9:

  • Select ‘Internet Options’ from the Gear menu in the top right corner of the screen
  • Select 'Delete' in the Browsing History section

You can also select Safety from the menu and then Delete browsing history…

You can also use the keyboard and press Ctrl+Shift+Del

If you use Internet Explorer 8:

If you use Internet Explorer 7:

  • Open the Tools menu in the top right corner of the screen
  • Select 'Internet Options' from the menu that appears
  • Select 'Delete' in the Browsing History menu
  • Select 'Delete files' under Temporary Internet Files
  • Close the browser, and open it again to complete the process

If you use Chrome:

  1. Select 'Option' (Windows) or 'Preferences' (Mac), from the menu in the top right corner of the screen
  2. Select 'Under the Hood' from the menu that appears, then 'Clear Browsing Data'
  3. Set 'Obliterate the following items' to 'the beginning of time'
  4. Make sure 'Empty the cache' is checked
  5. Select 'Clear Browsing Data'
  6. Close the browser, and open it again to complete the process

In Windows you can also use the keyboard shortcut and press Ctrl+Shift+Del…

If you use Firefox 4+:

  • Open the orange Firefox menu in the top left corner of the screen
  • Select 'Options', then 'Options' again in the menu that appears

  • Make sure 'cache' is checked
