Puffle History by Screenhog :)

Hi everyone, Screenhog here with a fun bit of info about Club Penguin's history!

Last month, a penguin named Gwen78 said that she wanted to hear the history of where the puffles came from. Well, I have no idea where they originally came from, but I can tell you how they were all discovered on Club Penguin!

You see, it used to be that penguins thought that they were the only creatures that lived on the island... until something strange began to happen. Furry creatures began popping up all over the place:

It turned out that Club Penguin was full of these furry creatures, and there were four colors; blue, pink, green, and black. After determining that the creatures were safe, the penguins of the island named them "puffles". Penguins loved the puffles, and wanted to take care of them, so a Pet Shop was built.

Most of the puffles really enjoyed the opportunity to be adopted by penguins, but the green puffle in the Night Club loved his spot so much that he stayed there. So, next time you're in the Night Club, say hi to one of the oldest puffles in Club Penguin.

But wait, you say... how were the other puffles discovered? Well, let's save that bit of history for another day. Waddle on!

I went to my Igloo and saw that the Igloo Contest Submit Icon was added when I noticed something else…

…No matter what color your Puffles have it will become WHITE while Playing or Sleeping in your Igloo!

…and by the way just like every time Club Bug has a Igloo Contest they FAILED to add the right Contest sign! Enter the Holiday Igloo Contest December 10-12…

…The Thank you message has wrong date too…Don’t change your Igloo decorations until December 12 to make sure the judges see how it looks now…BUT that is 9 MOUNTHS AWAY!!! I want to redecorate my Igloo MANY times before That! LOL :)

New game for Puffles coming March 15! The Puffle cannon is almost finished. Excited crowds have been spotted at the Pet Shop waiting for the new game!

“Puffle Launch is going to be intense,” said a game expert who worked on the cannon. “I get dizzy just thinking about it.”

On March 15, Puffles will blast up, down, sideways, backways—every which way there is!

The all-new, state of the art cannon will send our pets hurtling through the air— while trails of Puffle O’s will lead them to new levels, secrets and challenges.

“My purple Puffle has been mentally preparing for weeks,” said the game expert. “We’re ready to get in there and earn some Stamps!”

Get ready to play Puffle Launch with ALL your Puffles when it opens in the Pet Shop on March 15.

From March 11–14, creative penguins will get the chance to show off their decorating skills. Hopeful igloo decorators should check out the new Better Igloos catalog on March 11.

Dear Graham O. Fone,
Music is a great way for members to liven up their igloos. Luckily, it’s very easy to add.

Once you’re in your igloo, click on the tape measure to start editing. Then click on the cassette tape to see the music menu. Now comes the fun part: picking your tunes!

Look for a song that matches your mood. There are lots of styles to choose from— everything from rocking anthems to quiet melodies.

Nothing gets a party going like some good tunes. My particular favorite is the ‘Flipper Jig’. It’s hard not to do a little dance when you hear it—and St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner.

Secrets – Igloo Contest Tips :)

Judges are always impressed by creative igloos.Try using lots of the same item to build an object, or make a pattern. Or mix together old and new furniture to make yours stand out from the crowd. Be sure to follow the theme, and make your igloo green. Lastly, don’t be afraid to experiment. Best of luck!
