Hello Penguins!
I'm excited to say... the new Chat Friends and Chat are available now!
The team has been working really hard on these new features for you guys. This is all brand new technology for Club Penguin, and we're really excited to finally share it with you!
Here are a few brand new things we've added:

• New Chat: Chatting with your friends is now easier than ever. It's way faster to make sentences by clicking the word blocks as they appear:

• Pictures of Friends: Now you'll see pictures of your friends instead of just a list of names. So it's faster than ever to see all your friends' outfits!

• Tag your Best Friends: It's way easier to keep track of your best friends now. You can make someone a best friend on your list by clicking the little medal above their picture. Check it out:

• Find your Friends Faster: It's so much easier to find friends, because now you can search for them. Just type in your friend's name, then send them a friend request. They don't have to be logged in to get your request!

As I said before, this is brand new technology, so there may be some hiccups. We're going to do everything we can to make sure that it's running as smoothly as possible for you guys. Thanks for your patience as we continue to make Club Penguin even better!

I think this New Chat and Friend List will be AWESOME as soon you have fixed all the BUGS! Right now it’s so much lag that I can’t move in Club Penguin and it takes FOREVER to login and that makes me SAD! Please fix the Bugs as fast as Possible so I can Play TOGETHER with Friends again! Pufflescape Game in Pet Shop Sneak Peek :)

Here is a Sneak Peek of how the Pet Shop will look like when The Construction of Pufflescape Game is Done :)

Where can I find Pufflescape? In the Pet Shop, located in the Plaza.

Instructions:

• Choose one of your puffles to play with
• Collect the Puffle O'berries in each level
• Grab the key to unlock the door to the next level
• Use your arrow keys to roll through the caves
• Use your mouse to drag and rotate moveable objects

Tips & Tricks:

• Collecting a Puffle O'berry will unlock the hints for each level
• Use the hints to help you collect the Puffle O'berry bunch
• Collect the Puffle O'berry bunch to unlock Extreme Mode for that level

Club Penguin Friends List and Chat System info :)

Today Disney Club Penguin introduced new Chat and Friends tools. With these new tools, which will begin to roll out today and be available for all users in the coming weeks, Club Penguin has completely overhauled its in-world communications tools, and designed systems to create a safer and more social experience for kids online.

The new Chat system allows kids to communicate faster more efficiently by automatically completing words and phrases as they type. The patent-pending system was developed by a team of Disney computational linguists, producers and engineers, and represents one of the safest and most advanced Chat technologies for kids. It incorporates six years of learning from player behavior in Club Penguin, and includes a database of nearly 300,000 approved phrases in each of the virtual world's four supported languages globally. Chat has become one of the most popular features in Club Penguin, and each day millions of kids exchange more than 56 million Chat messages.

The enhanced Friends functionality allows players to better organize, find, and visit their penguin friends. The new features change the way kids connect with one another in the virtual world by allowing them to choose best friends and add new friends by searching for specific penguin names. Each player is also now represented with a personalized penguin avatar in the friends list, rather than just their penguin names. Additionally, in the coming weeks, Club Penguin will launch a "jump" feature that allows kids to easily travel to the location of their penguin friends.

"We've added powerful social networking technologies to the biggest online world for kids, making it much easier for kids to find and connect with each other in Club Penguin," said Lane Merrifield, co-founder of Club Penguin and executive vice president of Disney Online Studios. "The new Friends and Chat systems are the most significant enhancements we've ever made to Club Penguin and we're just getting started."

More details on the new Club Penguin features follow:

NEW CHAT SYSTEM MAKES COMMUNICATING EASIER, MORE EXPRESSIVE

• CHAT SYSTEM THAT FILLS IN THE BLANKS—The new Chat utilizes a proprietary algorithm that enables players to type only part of a phrase or sentence and have the anticipated phrase automatically completed, word-by-word as the player types.
• HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF PHRASES —Club Penguin worked with computational linguists to design this program as an easy and safe way for kids to communicate. The program currently encompasses nearly 300,000 approved phrases, which have been identified based on six years of Chat history in Club Penguin.
• CONTINUED COMMITMENT TO SAFETY — The new Chat evolves Club Penguin's screening technology from one based on pre-approved and banned words to a system built on pre-approved phrases. Because every phrase used in the new Chat system has been previously screened and pre-approved, it's designed to give kids the ability to easily communicate, but not share any personal information or abusive language.
• MULTI-LINGUAL – The enhanced Chat functionality has been translated across four languages making it accessible to Club Penguin's global audience. The new Chat is available in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.

FRIENDS LIST BECOMES MORE PERSONALIZED

• FULLY CUSTOMIZED PENGUIN AVATARS—Until now, the "Friends" lists in Club Penguin featured penguin names only. Now fully customized penguin avatars and backgrounds will represent each friend on players' lists, and these customized penguins will appear transparent to denote that a friend is currently offline. Additionally, a cleaner user interface will allow players to more easily organize and locate friends.
• TAG YOUR FAVORITE PENGUINS AS BEST FRIENDS—Friends who are communicated with most frequently, based on friends who you jump to play with, send a postcard to, visit their igloo, and stampbook with most frequently will appear at the top of the list. Penguins will also be able to tag fellow penguins as "best friends" so they appear on top of their lists. Once a penguin has exceeded 10 friends, they will be able to tag "best friends."
• BETTER TOOLS FOR LOCATING FRIENDS AT CLUB PENGUIN HOT SPOTS — A new and improved Friends interface will allow players to instantly locate where their friends are in world so they can easily meet up with them, regardless of which server they are using.
• ADDING NEW FRIENDS HAS BEEN SIMPLIFIED—Players just need to enter another penguin's name into the search box and send a friend request.
• ELIMINATE PENGUINS FROM YOUR COMPUTER SCREEN—The Friends list now contains an icon that empowers kids to "turn off" players they don't want to be contacted by or interact with in Club Penguin. These players can now be completely hidden from a player's screen, which offers increased protection for players.

"JUMPING" TO LOCATIONS IN-WORLD

• TRAVEL OR "JUMP" WITHIN THE WORLD IS MORE FUN AND IMMERSIVE—Images of penguins jumping into box will appear on screen to showcase their journey to meet up with friends in other locations.
• "JUMP" TO FAMOUS PENGUINS —Club Penguin is making it easier to discover and visit the "Famous Penguins" of the island, such as Captain Rockhopper and Aunt Arctic. When the Famous Penguins visit the world, players will be alerted at random to their whereabouts so they will have the opportunity to "jump" to them to enjoy this unique experience.

My Friends List is Empty BUG!

When I logged into Club Penguin and opened the Friends List ALL my Friends were GONE!

…I logged out and when I logged in again the Friends List was back to Normal :)

UPDATE: When this Bug Happens the Green circle around your Friends will be gone too!

The BIGGER almost Unlimited Buddy List is Finally HERE in Club Penguin and I’m so Honored and HAPPY that so many of you have sent me a Friend request and I would LOVE to add you ALL :)

…BUT right now I have a MAJOR Problem! These two Animations are recorded in an EMPTY Server! As you can see Littletias can Waddle On as normal BUT…

…I can’t! All these Friendly requests are too much for Club Penguin System to handle and I can barely move! And in a Half Full Server or Full Server I can’t move at all!

…I have contacted Club Penguin about this and hopefully they can solve the problem soon :) But until they find a solution it would be a Great Help if you could wait with sending a Friend List Requests to me…I feel so Sad over this Situation and I will Update this Post as soon as this problem is solved

Friends List Secret :)

The Friends List dialog box can be moved outside of the Club Penguin Game area :) I like this a lot BUT it is probably a Bug as we can’t do this with other dialog boxes! Let’s hope Club Penguin keep this as a Feature :)

Club Penguin Bugs and Details :)

If you click on the updated Edit Account icon you will get the Settings and there a scull has been added! If you click on that skull you can see what Penguin you has on your Ignore List and there you can Un-Ignore them too :) Well…I did a Test and added a Few random Penguins on that list and now I can’t remove them…BUG! (I hope Club Penguin fix this soon)

…The Friends Request Notification make Club Penguin Crash and I keep losing connection!

Problems to Play Club Penguin!

Right now I keep getting Connection Problems, Loading Problems, Waddle around Problems and on top of this my Browser Freeze all the time so I have to logout! There are TONS of problems with the New Friends List and I wonder why Club Penguin ALWAYS gives us BUGS and PROBLEMS EVERY TIME they adding something new? And WHY did you take away the Users in Room List? Without that list it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to click on a Character in a Full Room! This is NOT FUN!

Cadence is rehearsing new dance moves. To add her as a friend, you must meet her on the island.

Rookie is on a top secret mission. To add him as a friend, you must meet him on the island.

NEW Friends List in Club Penguin :)

Today we got a NEW Much BETTER Friends List in Club Penguin :)

…Bugs: My list get Stuck often and I have problem to waddle around in Club Penguin as I move so much slower then normal! And if you use the Ignore Player icon I don’t find anyway to un ignore them again! And I miss the Users in Room Feature! Please Club Penguin can you fix this? UPDATE: You find the Un Ignore Icon under Settings Thanks Echo006 for reminding me about that :)

UPDATE: Right now nothing happens when I click on the Show Friends icon…

…To open the Friends list I have to wait until I get an Alert and click on that to open the Friends List! By the way I LOVE that I quickly can see where my Friend is :)

…and to click on Show Player Card doesn't work anymore either!

…Sadly there are TONS of BUGS with this Feature right now! Friends are not there the Notification says they are! And Non Member Penguin shows as Old Members Badge when you open their Player Card! (If they look at their own Player Card they will see the Star as Normal)

…and both you and your Friends will be shown as Offline!

…one thing I like is the Green circle around our Friends that makes then easier to spot in a Crowd :)

November 3, 2011 will be a FABULOUS Day for all Puffle Friends as that is the date Club Penguin’s NEW Game The Pufflescape will be ready :) Right now you can help out in the Pet Shop with the Construction :)
