Prepare to set sail for new islands for the first time ever! The Beach is buzzing with activity this week. Rockhopper has returned, and announced he is looking for a crew. Avast!” he said, “We have much to do!” “Gary, I be needing yer help to upgrade me ship! Everyone else get ready! On Feb. 24, we cast off... for Shipwreck Island!”
Rockhopper’s return sparked many rumors, and he was quick to explain the reason for his Quest. “ARR! For many years, I’ve been sailin’ past a dangerous place called Shipwreck Island!” “At night, it be a treacherous voyage! I’ve lost count how many times I’ve nearly crashed into it!” “So I be lookin’ to build a beacon there. A beacon so bright, ye can see it far and wide! And for that, I need a brave crew!” “This week, the Migrator be closed for upgrades. We be startin’ the journey Feb. 24.” “So all ye need to do is make a choice...Will ye be joinin’ me Quest... or will ye be stayin’ behind?”

Rockhopper’s Quest will take adventurers far from Club Penguin...Captain Rockhopper is busy charting a course to the perilous Shipwreck Island. He revealed details about where he, and his first crew are headed. “Avast! Our final destination be Shipwreck Island! But we be needin’ to make a few stops along the way!” “First, we be dockin’ at Swashbuckler Trading Post! Here we be gettin’ some supplies. If ye be a member, bring some coins, to trade for rare items.” “Next, we go to Dinosaur Island, to grab an important treasure! Last we be sailin’ to Shipwreck Island.” “And since no one’s ever docked there without crashin’, it should be great fun to try! Yo ho ho! If none of that scared ye away... welcome aboard! We be settin’ sail Feb. 24!”

This be a fine question! Sit ye back, and I’ll tell ye the tale!So there I was! Sailing through the the thickest fog I had ever seen! Fog so thick, you could spread it on toast! Suddenly, I saw a furry creature floating on a piece of driftwood. “Avast!” I said, I be needin' to save that furry creature!” He be a bit shy at first. But when I said, “Yarr! Ye need to be coming with me!” he jumped into me arms. Turns out he liked the word ‘yarr’ so much, it became his name! He’s been me first mate, and me best friend, ever since! Ye can read all about it in me journal in the Book Room.

What’s Rockhopper Island like?–Ivanna Noe
Avast Ivanna Noe!
Arr! Ye be not the first to ask me about me island... And ye won’t be the last, I’m sure! Rockhopper Island be much like Club Penguin. Only it be tropical, and no penguins live there. It be the perfect place to hide me treasure! Yar har! There be plenty of secret caves, deep jungles, and sharp spiky rocks. Ye’d have to be crazy to try sailing too close! Even I haven’t explored every nook and cranny. So it still be a place full of adventure and surprise! For now, I still prefer to keep most of its secrets to meself. But who knows what the future may hold?

Avast! Did ye know that ye can meet Rockhopper during his visits?It be true! Meetin’ the Captain be very rare, so here be some tips:

Set up a Rockhopper search party! Look with friends, and try different servers to find him.

Look for crowds, and ask if anyone has seen him. He might be close!

When ye be awarded a Stamp for bein’ in a busy room, ye know for certain he be near.

Rockhopper be a bit uncertain of heights, (but not pizza!) so ignore high up places, (but try the Pizza Parlor!).

If ye can’t find him, have no worries matey! He’ll be visiting again very soon, no doubt!
