Day 11: June 24, 2012
It felt like my heart stopped and I couldn't breathe! WHERE ARE MY PUFFLES!? I started to call for them softly as I was afraid that whoever robbed our home were around to hear me…as soon they heard my voice they came out from their hiding place and run towards me…tears of relief fell on my cheeks when I tried to hug them all at once!
…My Puffles told me that as soon as they heard that someone tried to break into our home they escaped through the window and hid just as I had trained them to do in case of an emergency! I told them how much I love them and how proud I am that they acted so quickly to put themselves in safety :) We went inside to pick up the blue pillow and then we left to find another place to live as we clearly are not safe here at the River anymore…
…We waddled very deep into the Wilderness making sure to use evergreen branches to remove our tracks to a Cave I once visited during an Expedition! We have lost almost everything we own but we are bodily unharmed by the robbers and ALL TOGETHER and that is more important then anything else :)
