This is a message by Megg: It was great hearing how much everyone enjoyed Funny Hat Week. So we thought, why not do that again? Well, not exactly that. But another mini-event! This time, we're throwing a Penguin Prom at the University!
Wear your best gown or tux, and come celebrate June 12-18, 2014! Waddle on!
…I think most Club Penguin Players have many years left before they will graduate from University! Aren’t you supposed to have a date for the Prom? I’m not allowed to date yet so this Prom Party is not for me! Can’t we have an end of the School year Party instead?

I know, I thought this was a bit strange...
I dunno.....I don't even know what a Prom is!! Is it like a school formal? Is "Prom" short for anything? I live in the Southern Hemisphere...

I agree it's sort of weird that kids are thinking about a prom now
It's like a school formal we have formals in Ireland
The earliest young players could graduate from school is kindergarten... so... yeah.
This seems a little too out-of-age range.
Prom is a high school thing, not university, so this is weird just on that point... and doesn't CP already have problems with players bugging other players with the heart and flower emotes? o.O Oh and if it's okay with you Saraapril I can answer the question about "Prom" being short for something! It's short for "Promenade", which is a fancy name for a formal dance or ball! So yes, it is, in fact, a school formal! :)
That isn't right! I'm not ready for a prom yet, either! This should have been a graduation or end-of-the-school-year party, like Saraapril said! >:(

According to the dictionary it is: a formal dance, especially one held by a class in high school or college at the end of a year... basically a bit like a disco but more formal :)

You can go to prom with friends! I'm in High School and there's plenty of people who go to proms as friends and just to have a good time. And the graduation doesn't always have to be leaving school forever, it could just celebrate moving up into the next grade!
It is a graduation.
