Billybob's Art Challenge! Draw Coats for Kids :)

Video Blog from Billybob:

Hey penguins it’s Lane here! I don’t know what it’s like where you live but here at Club Penguin it can get a little bit chilly and it’s always nice to have a warm coat. Oh hey thanks! It’s just my color.

Believe it or not there are kids and families all over the world that don’t have a nice warm coat to wear when it gets cold. So we wanted to do something about that and we knew you’d be excited to help! We’re going to hold a virtual coat drive. All you have to do is grab a piece of paper, draw a penguin wearing a coat, and then send it in to us.

Some of your artwork may actually be featured on TV. We’re partnering with ABC’s Good Morning America for their 5th annual “Warm Coats Warm Hearts” coat drive. It’s a really cool program that collects thousands and thousands of real coats and then gives them to families in need all across America.

So here’s the challenge, and I know you guys can do it. If you send us 100000 drawings of penguins wearing coats we’re going to send Captain Rockhopper to Times Square in New Your City to collect real coats for families in need.

So are you ready to get drawing? Here’s what you got to do. Once your drawing’s done, just go to clubpenguin.com/warmcoats and you can submit it there. We’ve even gone some fun facts and some tips on how to draw a penguin to make it even easier. I can’t wait to see some of the great drawings you come up with. I also can’t wait to meet some of you on December 2nd in Times Square with Captain Rockhopper. If you can… bring a coat and come on by. I’d love to see you there! Until then Waddle On!

Here's a quick video with some tips on how to draw a penguin:

For more details, go to Draw Coats for Kids. We can't wait to see all your drawings!

Until then... Waddle On!

This is a Message from Happy77:

Greetings Penguins!
Happy77 here. I just heard some exciting news from our team in the UK that I wanted to share with you.
Club Penguin is up for the Kids Vote at the Children's BAFTA Awards! That's a really huge deal in the UK, and we're honored to be nominated!
Every year the BAFTA gives kids in the UK the chance to vote for their favorite movie, video game, TV show and website. The Kids Vote is the only award to be voted for by the public, and Club Penguin is one of the lucky few that's been nominated under Websites!

Wish us luck... and keep your flippers crossed! ;)

Club Penguin Times Issue 284 :)

Explore the Box Dimension :)

An expert on the Box Dimension is mapping the new rooms. Thanks to a bumbling agent, new areas of the Box Dimension have been opened. One expert is mapping out the entire Box Dimension!

“These rooms are unlike anything I’ve ever seen,” said the expert.

“I can’t thank that Agent enough. Because of this accident, there are new rooms to explore. I must map them all!”

The expert has a big job ahead of him. “Once you pass into the Box Dimension, you’re presented with seven boxes.”

“Each box has a different symbol,” he said.

“The symbol provides a clue to what’s in the room!”

“The hardest to map has been the Stair Room,” the expert continued. Down is up, and up is down—but I’m UP to the challenge!”

Diligent Agents have investigated and declared the rooms fit for public access during the party.

Explore the new Box Dimension rooms by heading to the Snow Forts!

Ask Aunt Arctic :)

What keeps the Iceberg anchored in place? Aunt Arctic investigates.

ANGG KERR
Dear Aunt Arctic,Why doesn’t the Iceberg ever float away?–Angg Kerr
Dear Angg Kerr,
The Iceberg is one of the island’s many curiosities. I asked resident science expert, Gary the Gadget Guy for his opinion.

“If my calculations are correct, the Iceberg’s stationary position is a direct result of its geological form.”

“In other words, the Iceberg’s shape  could be the reason it stays put.”

“I’ve never personally investigated the area beneath the ’berg, but I believe there’s more to it than meets the eye.”

“And I mean that literally. Icebergs are much bigger underneath the surface... it’s even possible that it’s linked to the island itself.”

So there we have it! If you're still curious about the Iceberg, then make your way to Aqua Grabber for some underwater exploring!
