Planning Your Meal

  1. Decide who you are inviting to your earth-friendly meal. Consider friends, family, neighbors.
  2. Pick the food categories you are going to include at your meal. Have as many or as few as you want!
  3. Get organized. Make a list of who will be in charge of what category. Hint: if there is someone who can't be in charge of a meal item, give them a different activity.
  4. Set a date, time, and location. Invite! Be sure all your guests know what they should bring.
  5. Let your guests know what the theme is. During the meal, have each person explain how their food item is earth-friendly! Hint: Try to think of other ways you can think of to make your meal more earth-friendly, like using reusable dishes!

Jedi Training - Outdoor Activities Club Penguin!

Club Penguin Outdoor Activities - Jedi Training!

You Will Need

  • 2 or more friends or family
  • Backyard, or field
  • Lots of energy
  • The Force

Optional

  • Foam bat
  • Hula hoops
  • Green balls
  • Red balls
  • Yellow balls
  • 3 buckets
  • Cones
  • Blindfold
  • Rope

Instructions

Young Jedi must train their bodies and minds to master the Force.
A great way to do that is by setting up obstacle course stations around your backyard.
Here's some suggestions on different stations you can set up:

  • Sort colored balls into separate buckets. Try throwing them in, or run and place the balls in the buckets one at a time.
  • Place a ball on a cone and use the foam bat to knock it off while blindfolded.
  • Set up hula hoops in a pattern. Jump between hoops. Make it harder by only jumping with one foot.
  • Stand on one foot for 15 seconds. Challenge your friends to see who can balance the longest.
  • Spin around 10 times without falling over. Then try to walk in a straight line.
  • Use the rope to mark the starting spot. Try to jump as far as you can.
  • Have two friends hold a rope up. Limbo below the rope. See who can go the lowest.

Continue your training. The Force will be with you, always.

Club Penguin Arts and Crafts - Colored Eggs :)

Club Penguin Arts and Crafts - Colored Eggs :)

*Ask an adult for help

Some cultures like to decorate trees with the colorful eggs they create!

You Will Need

  • Eggs
  • 2 push pins
  • A long sewing needle
  • Colored napkins or tissue paper
  • A bowl
  • Ribbon
  • Paintbrush
  • Optional: Colored markers

Paper Maché mix

  • 1 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Gently rinse off your eggs.
  2. At the top of your egg, use the push pin to carefully puncture the shell.
  3. Make a second hole in the other end of your egg. Try to make this second hole a little bigger.
  4. Keep a push pin in the bottom of the egg.
  5. Use your sewing needle to break up the yolk inside the egg.
  6. Hold your egg above a bowl and gently blow into the smaller hole. The yolk should come out pretty easily.
  7. If there’s some yolk still in the egg, use your needle again to break it up. (Don't throw the yolk away! You can create a tasty omelet!)
  8. Once all the yoke is out, hold the egg under warm running water, letting water enter the egg. When you think it’s clean, blow the excess water out.
  9. Cut or tear your napkins or tissue paper into smaller pieces.
  10. Use a paintbrush to gently apply the paper maché mix to the egg.
  11. Place your napkin or tissue pieces on the egg and apply more paper maché over top. (You may want to do a few layers.)
  12. Once dry, take your ribbon and thread it through your needle, then push the needle through the holes in the egg.
  13. Tie a knot at the bottom of the ribbon.
  14. Now you’re ready to hang up your egg!
  15. Instead of Paper Maché you can also use markers and draw pictures or patterns on your eggs.
