Parents Update August 2011 Sneak Peek :)

The first thing I saw when I and my cousins got home from the Waterpark Grandpa took us to Today was a Parent Update from Club Penguin :) Thanks Mum for showing me this :)

Hi Parents,
This month we want to share info that shouldn't be kept under wraps! Read on for a secret agent sneak peek, a party head's up, and to learn about an international speaking tour that could help your child change the world!

Elite Penguin Force Secrets!
Penguins who want to help protect the island can become secret agents - and on August 11th play a new level of the System Defender game! Let your child know they can head to the Everyday Phoning Facility and join the Elite Penguin Force. Answer the call! System Defender EPF Reviewed by Saraapril!

August Party - Snow Race!
Penguins love parties and the one coming August 26 has more than a few surprises. We can't give away all the secrets, but we WILL say that a lot of agents will be required... Let your child know they can get ready to race by practicing at the Ski Hill!

Be The Change - Think: We
In partnership with international charitable organization Free The Children, Club Penguin is excited to present Think We!, our fourth annual speaking tour and leadership program. It's a fun and motivational tour designed for elementary students that we offer free to schools. Speakers will share stories that inspire kids to take action where they live - and around the world. Nominate your child's school or a school in your area for the Think We! tour before August 8, 2011.

Why not be part of the Club Penguin adventure? Create a penguin yourself and join your child in experiencing what's going on around the island! If you've got questions, comments, or suggestions, please contact us.
Until next time,

This letter will be sent to your Parents from Disney Club Penguin if they have subscribed to it :)

Dear Parent,
It's a challenge every parent faces: how to keep your child busy and entertained on holidays. If time on the computer is in the forecast, now's a great time to talk about how to stay safe online. Read on for tips to start the conversation, and ideas on how you and your child can have fun offline too!

Keeping Kids Safe :)
Everything we do at Club Penguin is about fun for kids and peace of mind for parents. Word filters block inappropriate comments, while our moderators are online 7 days a week, in 4 languages to make sure players have a safe and fun time online. Learn more about Player Safety.

Safety Begins at Home :)
When it comes to keeping kids safe online, nothing can replace you. Here are some tips to share with your child:
1. Never share personal information.
2. Tell a trusted adult if anyone does or says anything online that makes you feel uncomfortable.
3. Visit websites with trusted safety partners.

Musical Fun :)
Making music is a great way for children to express themselves. At Club Penguin's annual Music Jam festival your child can rock out on stage, or join a conga at our Casa Fiesta. Take the fun offline and join your child for a game of Lyric DJ or create a Casa Fiesta Feast for the whole family. Music Jam FUN Activities 2011 :)

A Special Gift :)

Celebrate Earth Day Sneak Peek – Parent Update :)

Parents have got more Earth Day Sneak Peek information from Club Penguin AND some Secret Information about HERBERT!!!

Dear Parent,
Excitement is growing in Club Penguin about Earth Day on April 22. There are lots of ways you and your child can celebrate the planet – like making an Earth Friendly Meal!

Celebrating Earth Day :)

As your child roams around the island during this year's Earth Day Party, April 21-26, they will find out about endangered animals and their habitats. Be sure to ask what they discover during this celebration.

Protecting the Planet :)

Your child's concern for the environment inspires us. In addition to the support from Coins For Change, this Earth Day, Club Penguin will donate $100,000 USD to protect more of the world's endangered species. Watch this video together to learn more. (This Video don’t exist yet…BUT you can read info at that link :)

May Sneak Peek :)

Speaking of animals, tell your child to look out for suspicious activity at the Everyday Phoning Facility. Secret agents will soon come face-to-face with Club Penguin's resident villain, Herbert P. Bear. Let them know that they need to team up with other agents, and use LOTS of snowballs to defeat him.

What would you like to see in our future newsletters? Let us know!
Until next time,

Earth Day Sneak Peek – Parent Update :)

Parents has got a New Parent Update Letter from Club Penguin :)

Dear Parent,
There are exciting things going on in Club Penguin this month, and it's all about Puffles! - The adorable (and sometimes silly) pets penguins adopt, care for and play with.

Pet Adoption!

To help them find the puffle that's just right for them your child can take the Adoption Quiz located in the newly renovated Pet Shop. Each time they adopt a new puffle they'll receive an adoption certificate! Find out if your child has any puffles, what their names are and how they play with them. QUIZ! Which Puffle is most like you?

Caring For Pets!

Inside the Pet Shop, your child can adopt puffles, buy them food and toys and play our new game, Puffle Launch.
Just like real pets, puffles need special care and attention. To ensure their puffles stay healthy and happy, your child should feed and play with them regularly. If not, they may return to their natural habitat. Take care of your Puffle in your Igloo ANIMATED :)

Sneak Peak :)

Earth Day in Club Penguin will support wildlife initiatives, which protect the African Wild Dog and the Snow Leopard. Here's an exclusive sneak peak of what's in store at this party!

We'd love to know what you'd like to see in future newsletters. Click here to contact us.

Parent Update from Club Penguin :)

This email is from Club Penguin to our parents :)

Dear Parent,

Many of you told us that you'd like to hear more about what's happening in the world of Club Penguin. Our goal with this periodic email is to give you more ways to connect with your kids about something they're interested in.

Here's what's going on in the month of December, and some ways you can get involved with your child.

Coins For Change

We love how passionate our players are when it comes to helping others. Every year they give their virtual coins to create change in the real world. Together we've helped 200,000 kids go to school, provided medical care for 2 million people and protected 13 endangered species and their habitats across the world. And we'll continue to do more with this year's Coins For Change.

Our Gift to You

Help your little penguin make a difference - surprise them with a 500 coin booster. Just give them this code to redeem coins online:
