New Year and BIGGEST Threat - Reviewed by You :)

This is a Message from Billybob:

Hello Penguins!

Last week we asked you what you're most looking forward to in the new year and Reeio said:

im looking forward to what happens to a certain polar bear. I also can't wait for the parties and coins for change i love donating.  Waddle On CP

Thanks Reeio!

Reeio's comment made me think of the time a certain polar bear triggered a huge earthquake. The attack was intense, but the island recovered thanks to your help. Earthquake! And Message in HQ!

With that in mind, this week we want to hear from the EPF.

Agents - what do you think is the greatest threat to peace on the island?

Write your Reviewed By You answer as a comment. We'll post one (50 - 75 words, please) in next week's Reviewed By You. If your submission is chosen to be the feature comment on next week's blog, we'll add 10 000 coins to your penguin account. Don't forget to use your penguin name so we can add coins!

Until then... Waddle on!

I think Herbert is a threat BUT I think unfriendly Penguins that likes to Bully other Penguins or make up Fights and create Wars in Club Penguin are a BIGGER threat to our Community! BUT…TOGETHER we can make Club Penguin SAFE and FUN!

TOGETHER we can make Club Penguin SAFE and FUN!

We’re all in this TOGETHER! Club Penguin Style :)

Coins for Change 2010 detailed Result :)

KELOWNA, British Columbia (Business Wire) More children around the world will soon have safe places to live, learn and play thanks in part to the support of kids who play in the popular snow-covered virtual world, Club Penguin (clubpenguin.com). The fourth annual Coins For Change event, conducted from December 17 to 27, 2010, allowed the children who play Club Penguin to help change the world by donating the virtual coins they earned playing games online to real world causes that matter to them.

Kids could donate virtual coins to provide medical help, build safe places or protect the earth. At the end of the event, the virtual donations to the three cause categories served as votes to determine how a $1M cash contribution from Disney Online Studios would be divided among charitable projects aimed at helping children, families and the planet.

Thanks to more than 3.4 million players who donated in excess of 12.2 billion virtual coins, Disney Online Studios will donate:

  • $290,000 USD to support medical clinics in Malawi and Lesotho, Africa (conducted by Partners in Health).
  • $50,000 USD to fund operations for sick and disabled children in Cambodia (conducted by Children’s Surgical Centre).
  • $75,000 USD to provide school programs for kids displaced by war in Sudan, Africa (conducted by War Child).
  • $75,000 USD to protect children from violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo (conducted by War Child).
  • $150,000 USD to fund projects to provide water to communities in India (conducted by Free The Children).
  • $180,000 USD to teach kids and families to care for watersheds and rainforests (conducted by Rare).
  • $180,000 USD to protect endangered animals in Columbia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and the Andes Mountains (Conducted by Wildlife Conservation Network).

The Coins you gave are Changing the World :)

Providing Medical Help $340,000

Protecting the Earth $360,000

Building Safe Places $300,000

Red Puffle Big Face Cushion :)

Disney Club Penguin has made a NEW Red BIG Face Puffle Cushion and I like this one MUCH better that the older ones Club Penguin Puffle Cushion :) and Club Penguin Puffle Cushions Small :) If they make a PINK or Purple Puffle that looks cute like this one does I might buy one IF they are Washable BUT as Disney DOESN’T tell us if their Club Penguin Toys are or not we must assume they are not and that means that they are made in a poor quality! And I do NOT buy that…PLEASE Club Penguin can you add in your Product information if your Plush Toys are Washable or not? Thanks :)

How to Be a Great Tour Guide :)

How to Be a Great Tour Guide in Club Penguin :)

Congratulations! You’ve passed the quiz and proven you’re ready to be a worthy Club Penguin Tour Guide. This manual will help you get started.

Starting a Tour :)

1. Put on only your Tour Guide Hat, which is your official uniform as a tour guide.

2. Go to the Ski Village.

3. While in the Village, have your penguin wave. Your penguin will hold up a TOURS HERE sign.

If there are penguins around who want a tour, they will come over to you. Three to six penguins is a good tour size.

Going on Your Tour :)

1. Welcome everyone in your tour group, perhaps by sending them a postcard.

2. Visit lots of rooms, describing different things about those rooms as you go. Stay in each room for a little while, answering any questions that your tour group might have.

3. When you decide to finish the tour, thank everyone for joining you. Remind them to ask others for help if they need it.

Tour Text :)

Not sure what to say on your tour? No problem! Click on your Safe Chat menu, click Activities, then click Give A Tour. You will say a few pre-written sentences about the room that you are in.

There are also other good Safe Chat menu phrases, like "Follow me" and "Where do you want to go?". Feel free to use these to make tours easier.

Tips on Giving a Good Tour :)

1. Creating a good route is very important. Visit the most popular areas that lead into multiple rooms. Include the Town, The Beach, and The Plaza.

2. It's a good idea not to use your map while you're going on a tour. If you waddle from place to place, it will make it easier for your tour group to keep up.

3. Be friendly! A big part of your job is making newcomers feel welcome.

Thank you for all of your help!

…if you need more Help or information you will find it here :) How can I be a Tour Guide in Club Penguin? And yes the rumor is True Tour Guides get Paid for their Hard work once a month :)

…Under this Label Tour Guide you will find many special Tours from Old and Rare Club Penguin Parties and Special Events :) Have a FUN Waddle on Memory Lane :)
