FINALLY we can get the Purple Dragon Costume and Feet from the Updated Medieval Catalog :) AND Disney Club Penguin even found a way to add a NAME instead of Undefined MARVELOUS!

…Let’s Hope Club Penguin lets us KEEP our items when the Party ends this time…

Dragon Costume BUG Update by Billybob!

Hello Penguins,

We've received a few emails from penguins saying they can't purchase the newly released Purple Dragon costume. We're aware of this bug and are working hard to squash it!

Thanks for your patience. We'll make sure the costume is available for you as soon as possible, and will keep you posted once it gets fixed here on the blog. In the meantime, we hope you'll enjoy the rest of the Medieval Party while it's still on!

In other news... Many of you have been asking us about a certain polar bear and whether or not you'll be seeing him soon. I'll have some news about that for you guys tomorrow here on the blog, too!

Disney Club Penguin’s Medieval Party 2011 BUGS and Glitches!

Medieval FUN Activities :)

Due to Club Penguin’s BUG last week’s Medieval FUN Activities were removed BUT now they are Back :)

RECIPES :)

Royal Tea Party :)

Invite some friends over and prepare a perfect medieval tea party!

* Make sure your parent or guardian helps you with these!

You Will Need:

A knife
Scissors
Two bowls
Plastic wrap
Rolling pin
Baking sheet
Shield Printout

Ingredients

Royal Sandwiches:

Bread slices
Tomato, lettuce or any other vegetable
Cheese, ham,turkey, etc.

Royal Cookies:

1 1/2 c. flour
1/3 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. softened butter
2/3 c. sugar
Two tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
One egg yolk + One egg
Sprinkles, candies, colored sugar

Suggestions:

1. Make royal tea party invitations and give them out to your friends.
2. Ask everyone to dress up in princess, or knight clothing.
3. Eat around a round table like in medieval times.
4. Server tea (hot or cold) for your royal guests.
5. Serve treats like tiny sandwiches or cookies.

Royal Sandwiches instructions:

1. Print the shield and cut it out.
2. Use the shield stencil to cut bread in the shape of shields.
3. Add all the ingredients to create the perfect royal sandwich!
4. Make as many shield sandwiches as you think necessary for your royal guests.

Royal Cookies instructions:

1. Mix the flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl.
2. Beat the butter until creamy in a separate bowl.
3. Add the sugar, vanilla and lemon extract and blend.
4. Mix the egg and yolk.
5. Stir in the flour mixture until the dough is uniform.
6. Cover the dough in plastic wrap and let it sit for at least 2 hours.
7. Heat oven to 250 F/170 C.
8. Roll the dough and cut small circles.
9. Decorate the tops of the cookies with sugar, sprinkles or candies.
10. Tip: You can put the sprinkles in such a way as to form a sword!
11. Put the cookies on the baking sheet and cook them for 10 minutes.

ARTS AND CRAFTS :)

Noble Steed Costume:)

* Make sure your parent or guardian helps you with these!

You will Need:

A really big cardboard box that you can fit into
Scissors
Markers, paints or crayons
Masking tape
Staples
Wide ribbon

Instructions

1. Cut the flaps off the cardboard box. (The box is the horse body.)
2. Print the horse’s head and tail.
3. Paste them on the flaps of cardboard that you removed from the box.
4. Cut them, and decorate with markers or paints.
5. Let your imagination soar! Tip: a chivalrous horse always wears a saddle!
6. Attach the horse’s head and tail to opposite ends of the horse’s body with the masking tape.
7. Staple one end of the wide ribbon to one inside of the box and the other end diagonally opposite.
8. Repeat this with another piece of ribbon on the remaining corners.
9. Your costume horse is ready to start a Medieval Quest, but the real question is… are you?

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES :)

Medieval Obstacle Quest :)

Challenge your friends to a Medieval Quest! Overcome obstacles and impress the king/queen!

* Make sure your parent or guardian helps you with these!

You will Need:

The horse costume you made in this month’s Arts and Crafts!
Some hardboiled eggs
Two large ropes
A basket
A whistle
A stopwatch
Family and friends
A large playground

Preparation:

1. Choose a starting point.
2. Put both ropes one meter apart to create a moat.
3. Choose a spot to place a spoon and eggs (dragon eggs).
4. Choose a spot where the King/Queen will have the basket and wait for the eggs.

Instructions:

1. Put on your horse costume!
2. Choose someone to start the stopwatch and blow the whistle.
3. First challenge: When you get the dragon eggs, place one on your spoon.
4. Carry the egg in the spoon to the basked. If you drop it, start again.
5. To win: Be the fastest to finish the quest and impress the king/queen!

Last week’s Pictures from Aunt Arctic were quickly removed due to a BUG! BUT This week they are added again :) The Green Puffle found a FANTASTIC Tree house :)

…and our Orange Puffle failed to jump over this Fence to eat a Yummy half eaten Cookie from the ground…EWWW…Don’t worry Aunt Arctic will save you…and give you another Cookie :)

…Super Hero Training Camp :) Detail: Note how well the Puffles and Shadow Guy color matching each other and the climbing grips :)

…HELP! Is that GIANT Pineapple ALIVE!?! Where is the Orange Puffle? She is the ONLY one that can SAVE us…LOL :)
