Easter Egg Hunt On Now! Earth Day Announcement :)

Easter Egg Hunt On Now!
Grab your friends and search the island for Easter eggs until Apr. 10.
Submitted by Aunt Arctic — Do you enjoy a good scavenger hunt? Well, April is here, so what better time for a good old-fashioned Easter egg hunt? There’s even a special prize in it, for those who manage to find every egg. If you’d like to know more...
Every year, penguins all over the island set out to search for colorful eggs. Here’s what a few penguins had to say before the Club Penguin Times went to press: “Alright! I’m an egg-hunting machine,” said a penguin dressed as a chocolate rabbit. “Someone time me! Let’s do this!” “I LOVE looking for eggs,” said a penguin in a big pink bow. “Let me go get my puffle, Sir Eggsalot. He’ll be a big help!” Looking for a place to start? Click the ‘easter egg’ at the top of your screen. The egg hunt ends Apr. 10. Good luck, and happy searching!
Earth Day Announcement :)
Earth Day will celebrate the animals supported during Coins For Change 2011.
Do you live on Earth? Then heads up! The Earth Day Party is just around the corner! During this event, the island celebrates how important the environment is. It also helps raise awareness for the animals being supported by donations from Coins For Change. Thanks to a remarkable effort from volunteers last December, the largest-ever donation was made to help protect animals. So this year, there will be even more rare animal costumes to choose from. Everyone is invited to attend this event on Apr. 19-24. I hope to see you there!

ART TESS
Dear Aunt Arctic,
How do I get my artwork into the Book Room?–Art Tess
Dear Art Tess,
To answer your question, I interviewed the penguin that picks the artwork. Her name is Cool Times, and she has some great tips for aspiring artists. “First off, be original!” she said quickly. “I LOVE getting pictures that are super creative. I love seeing new outfits, cool hairdos for puffles—anything to give it a personal touch.” “Try to avoid using too many words. And also, try to make it fit a picture frame. Turn your paper sideways and draw landscape, rather than portrait.” “The most important thing, though, is that the art fits with Club Penguin’s safety rules. Please don’t put any personal information on your pictures. But DEFINITELY sign it with your penguin name!” “Finally—keep drawing everyday! I love drawing too, and I’m always so inspired by the art you send in. You guys rock!”
Working with others is the best way to track down pins, eggs, candy, and more!
KENT FINE DIM
Dear Aunt Arctic,
Where are the Easter eggs hidden? I can’t find them!–Kent Fine Dim
Dear Kent Fine Dim,
Now telling you where the eggs are would be spoiling the fun, wouldn’t it? But what I can do is give you some scavenger hunt tips. Whether you’re looking for eggs, Halloween candy, or paper boats, these suggestions should be helpful. First off, make sure you know how the scavenger hunt clues works. Click the ‘Easter egg’ at the top right of your screen. You’ll see a hint where to search next. If you get stuck, rally a group of searchers. Two heads are better than one, and twenty heads are even better. Finally, if you’re really stuck, there is one last desperate option... click everything! Especially if you suspect you’re in the right room, but can’t see the egg. Don’t be shy. Of course I’ve never had to do it this way. Except perhaps that one time Sensei hid the eggs. He was quite good at it.
Secrets Classified Digging for Coins :)
Submitted by Rory
I bet you already know this. You’re a smart looking penguin.
But in case you’ve forgotten, did you know that you can earn coins without playing games? That’s right. You can dig for ’em.
Here’s what you need to do:
-
Go to the Cave Mine. It’s a bit tricky to find. Go to the Mine. Then go up. Up into the cave.
-
Grab a hard hat—one. One for every head you’ve got.
-
Make sure the hard hat is the only item you’re wearing. For safety reasons.
-
Press ‘D’ to dig. Dig on the big patch of earth.
Digging for coins is more fun than a barrel of sardine jam. Give it a try, smarty pants.
