Submitted by Aunt Arctic — Get ready to go wild for animals—the Earth Day Party kicks off April 19! Thanks to everyone’s hard work during Coins For Change 2011, lots of animals are receiving much needed support. So to celebrate, new animal costumes are coming out...
This year, get your paws on new lion and rockhopper penguin costumes. You can also get last year’s favorites—the snow leopard and painted dog costumes. You’ll likely see plenty of packs, prides, and colonies at the Snow Forts. Let’s hope they all get along. Party goers can also learn about other animals Club Penguin is supporting, including antelopes, monkeys and tapirs… Oh my! Drop in, dress up, and help raise animal awareness. By the way, the rockhopper penguin costume is not just for pirates. In case you were wondering. See you all there on April 19!

What are your favorite kinds of animals? –Anny Mall
Dear Anny Mall,
As you can guess, I love animals of every shape and size. Even a few that you might find unusual—I think jellyfish are adorable. I couldn’t possibly list all my favorites. But I can say which Earth Day animals I would love to have as pets. First off, I love cats. Their whiskers, their little paws and ears. So naturally I think big cats are delightful! A lion or a snow leopard would be wonderful. I also like animals with long noses, like elephants. So I’m glad we’re supporting tapirs and saiga antelopes. A pet tapir would definitely catch people’s attention. If you’ve never heard of a tapir, a saiga, or a snow leopard, I would definitely encourage you to drop by the Earth Day Party next week.
There are lots of ways you can help. Little actions can have a big impact!

Dear Nat True-all,
Thank you for this wonderful question! These days, its important for everyone to help protect the environment.
I know sometimes it may seem like there’s very little we can do to help. But as it turns out, ‘little’ is exactly how we should be thinking. Because little things can add up to big differences. Start by turning off lights you aren’t using, and turning off the tap while you brush your teeth. You can also put on a sweater when its cold, rather than turning up the thermostat. The water and energy you save adds up. Look for ways to avoid plastic bags—like bringing your own bags while you shop. And finally, make sure to recycle as much as you can. Remember that some things recycle much easier than others, so don’t take that for granted. Learn as much as you can, and do your best. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to drop in at the Recycle Center next to the Mine Shack, and see if I can help out. Thanks again!

Here are a few things to try:

After you click the start button, skip levels by pressing numbers on your keyboard. Press ‘1’ for level 10, ‘2’ for level 20, and ‘3’ for level 30.

To find the Secret Levels, first finish level 10. Wait 30 seconds on the level 11 info screen, and a blue ship will appear. Shoot it to access the Secret Levels.

To find the Expert Levels, first finish level 30. Wait 25 seconds on the level 31 info screen, and a blue ship will appear. Shoot it to access the Expert Levels.
