Club Penguin Log off Ads and info!

Club Penguin has added log off Pictures with Ads and information! “Thanks for Playing. Waddle On! MEMBERS CAN GET IT ALL! Puffles, outfits, furniture, ninja training, exclusive party items, game levels, and more.” I think this Ad shows how desperately Disney Club Penguin is to earn more money…little too pushy for my taste! But at the same time I guess so many kids have stopped Play Club Penguin that this might be needed…still…little too MUCH!

…This Ad is more informative…I like that better :) Get the latest news, tips, and behind-the-scenes info!

…and I LOVE this Ad with FREE Club Penguin FUN :) Coloring Pages, Recipes, Outdoor Games AND MORE!

Can you crack the Case? Prepareth for Medieval Merriment :)

Can You Crack the Case?

Detectives needed at the Stage! Also damsels, bad guys, and doormen! Extra extra! Read all about it! A priceless ruby is missing at the Stage! Sharp-eyed detectives are needed to step into the role of Jacques Hammer—private eye! Also needed: dashing damsels, a gang of hopscotch-players, and someone to hold open a door.

Do you enjoy a good mystery? Do you like it when the world suddenly turns black and white, and looks all mysterious and dangerous? Then you need to check out this month’s Stage production of Ruby and the Ruby! This classic play is very different from others. Actors will need to explore the set, and look for clues to solve the case of the missing ruby. No one is told where the ruby is—this makes for a more convincing performance! There’s even a special surprise for those that crack the case. Interested? Then head over to the Stage today! Ruby and the Ruby is mystifying audiences until May 23.

Prepareth for Medieval Merriment :)

Gary is helping to make sure this year’s medieval costumes are sturdy.

Gary the Gadget Guy is hard at work in the Gift Shop this week, helping put together this year’s medieval costumes. “We’ll need to make sure this year’s costumes are extra robust,” he commented. “Exceptionally reinforced. They must be of the highest quality!” Designers have confirmed that there will be many new costumes at this year’s event, including one with feathers and scales. “Gary has been working around the clock,” said one costumer, “I’m not sure why, but it’s like he needs the armor to be as real as possible. I’m sure you could hit it with a cannon, and it wouldn’t break.” When asked why the costumes needed to be strong, Gary said, “We need to prepare. I think something BIG is coming...” Check out the latest ancient fashions at the Gift Shop on May 3.

Ask Aunt Arctic :)

MAID UPP
Dear Aunt Arctic,
Why don’t you use our real names?–Maid Upp
Dear Maid Upp,
An excellent question! For those that may not know it yet, I never use real names in my Ask Aunt Arctic articles. I make them up myself. There are a couple reasons I don’t use real names, and here they are:One reason is to encourage everyone to ask ANY question they wish. I enjoy answering questions from new penguins, who may be nervous to ask. I don’t want them to shy away because they think their question is silly. Another reason is, sometimes, many penguins will ask me the same question at the same time. A made-up name lets me answer them all at once, fairly. It might hurt someone’s feelings to ask a good question, but then see someone else’s name on it. For now, I’ll still be making these names up. But please rest assured—I am receiving your letters, and I’ll do my best to answer your questions.

Running the Club Penguin Times can be a full-time job.

YORR FANN
Dear Aunt Arctic,
I met you at Earth Day! Want to play some Mancala? –Yorr Fann
Dear Yorr Fann,
Hello again! It was indeed a huge pleasure to meet everyone at Earth Day, and I enjoyed interviewing all the animals immensely. If I’m not mistaken, you were dressed as a snow leopard, yes? Though I would love to play a game of Mancala with you, (it is one of my favorite games, after all), I’m afraid I must take a rain check. As you might imagine, working on the Club Penguin Times keeps me very, very busy. As Chief Editor, I must make sure the newspaper is on time, and that all the information is correct. I also spend a great deal of time interviewing penguins, reading questions, and even judging igloo contests. However, there’s always something interesting happening around the island. And if there’s an event coming up that’s too good to pass up, I try to set time aside for it. So keep an eye on the Club Penguin Times, and I’ll let you know if I’ll be around during a party. I might even have time for a few games of Mancala. I hope we have the pleasure of meeting again!
