The Meteor crashed near the docks, and is radiating strange energy...
Submitted by Aunt Arctic — Extra extra! The Meteor struck Club Penguin this week! Damage is minimal, but the Meteor is glowing with unusual energy. “The Meteor is emitting a strange power, like a flashlight…” Gary the Gadget Guy commented. “There’s no telling what it will do.”

“The Meteor itself is made of an unknown element,” Gary explained. “All I can really say is that its energy readings are off the charts! I don’t believe it’s dangerous, but we must be cautious.” “If we can contain the Meteor’s energy, we may even figure out a way to put it to good use!” But there are those who seek to use the energy for evil. The Club Penguin Times has received a threat of a looming Super Villain invasion. If Super Villains are indeed heading to Club Penguin, then a call must go out for Super Heroes! On June 14, Club Penguin needs your help! Club Penguin Marvel Super Hero Party!

Ask Aunt Arctic :)
Dear Aunt Arctic,
How do I become a reporter?–K West Sean
Dear K West Sean,
A fantastic question—you’re already well on your way! Because the secret to becoming a great reporter is to ask the right questions. Whenever I interview someone for the Club Penguin Times, I like to ask the six ‘W’s: What, Where, When, Why, Who, and hoW. Another tip is to not be shy when you’re seeking the truth. Ask the hard questions, and don’t take ‘no’ for an answer. Getting as much information as you can will help you learn the facts. And it’s our duty to learn those facts and report the news accurately. The press can be a powerful tool for good in the world, and we must always use it that way. Stay sharp, question everything, and get the facts. Best of luck!
Anyone can make a difference during an emergency! Pitch in and help out!
Dear Aunt Arctic,
What should I do when there’s an island emergency?–Dee Saster
Dear Dee Saster,
Emergencies happen from time to time. One week the island is tipping, and the next an evil dragon is on the loose. Though it’s a good idea to get to safety during these situations, there’s actually a lot you can do to help out. During disasters, the Rescue Squad is awesome. They dive into danger, rescuing puffles and penguins alike. The Elite Penguin Force also swings into action. They secure areas, and make sure everything is safe and clear. If you’re not ready to join these daredevil professions, there are still lots of ways to help out in a jam. Tour Guides are great at guiding crowds to safety. And construction workers are vital to repairing damage. So remember—if there’s ever an emergency, we need you to help. I’m always proud when brave penguins step forward to save our beloved island.
