New Horizons Part 2 - Club Penguin Blog Brainstorm :)

Hello Penguins! How's everyone enjoying the Medieval Party? I love turning my penguin into a puffle chicken when I pick the wrong potion. So fun! We've heard from some of you recently that you want to see a "part 2" to the "New Horizons" behind-the-scenes video we made last year. A few of you asked why we haven't made another one. The answer is simple -- we only have time to make a few videos each month, and other videos we make tend to be more popular than our "behind the scenes" videos. However, we do know that some of you are really interested in these kind of videos, so we'd like to hear your thoughts....

It's time for a little blog brainstorm! If we were to make another "New Horizons" behind-the-scenes video, what would you like to see in it? We'd love to hear what would be most interesting to you. Do you prefer "New Horizons" or the "Behind the Scenes" video below? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment as a reply to this blog post!

In other news... You'll be stoked to know that I've invited a bunch of the other Club Penguin mods to post your comments, so you should see your comments published quicker than ever before! Keep an eye on the comments to see if you spot any familiar penguin names...Until next time... Waddle on!

The Old Ogre Dragon - Once Upon a Medieval Time :)

Once upon a time an Old Ogre Dragon was fast asleep in a cave. The Old Ogre Dragon had been sleeping for hundreds and hundreds of years and it had no desire to wake up for at least another hundred year when a high Happy HURRAY disturbed him!

…Without opening his eyes he let out a LOAD ROAR and smugly laughed when he heard the panicked screams of those that scarily run for their lives! HA HA! That will teach whoever that woke me up a lesson he said to himself and tried to fall asleep again BUT he couldn't!

…ROAR! My body aches and when did my cozy cave become this drafty? With a heavy sigh the Old Ogre Dragon dragged himself out of the Cave and found lots of Gold and Jewels outside. He grumpily looked at the Treasure and then he ignored it and started to move towards the Ogre Town…

…Just before he reached the bridge he tripped on a red shovel and fell down into the hot lava stream! AHHHH! He yelled in pain…

…and quickly jumped up grabbed the red shovel and with all his force threw it away and then he started to feel dizzy and his skin started to glow and shift color into lighter green and when he touched the scales they felt smooth. He picked up a shiny coin and in the reflection he saw that he had become young again and his body didn't ache anymore :)

…And then the now Young Ogre Dragon lived Happily ever after :) OR…

The weak Villager - Once Upon a Medieval Time :)

Once upon a time a poor Peasant Girl lived in a Medieval village. Even though life was hard she was happy as she was surrounded by nice friends and kind neighbors and she loved her life and her work at the inn :) But things were going to change…

…Rumor had it that a wizard was around and more and more villagers mysteriously disappeared and instead the village became inhabited with more and more Puffle Chickens…

…While she did her best to feed and take care of them she wonder where all her friends and neighbors went and where all the stressed Puffle Chickens came from…

…One day she was the only Penguin left in the village and to care for the Puffle Chickens took up so much time that she barely had any time left to eat or sleep and eventually she got so weak that she no longer could handle the wheelbarrow…

…I wish someone could help me she said out loud and then a little fairy appeared…

…Your wish is granted said the fairy and suddenly the Peasant Girl had a red shiny shovel in her flipper and the fairy was gone! What a nice shovel the Peasant Girl said to the nearest Puffle Chicken, so shiny and so beautifully red :) Let’s try it…

…But as the Peasant Girl was so weakened she didn't have the strength to dig and she put the fairy’s shovel for safe keeping in the backroom of the inn. And then she said to herself I must leave this village when I still can and find a way to get strong again so I can keep caring for the Puffle Chickens and so she did. After waddling for hours she came to a desolated Ogre village that smelled like rotten eggs…

...inside a house she found an Old Stinky Sock Pizza and she tried to eat some of it but it smelled so badly that she couldn't get it down even though she was half starved…

...If I can find something to drink I might be able to get this food down she thought and looked around and there on a shelf she spotted several bottles with liquid. She picked one down and opened it but quickly put the cork back into the bottle when the smell oozed out…

...The liquid inside the next bottle she tried didn't smell at all so she put it to her beak and took a sip…EWWW…It tasted HORRIBLE! But it made her feel stronger so she drank more and then the bottle started to look smaller and she realized that she had become OGRE SIZED! First she got scared but then she found that she had become OGRE STRONG too :)

…The Peasant Girl hurried back to her village and now when she was BIG and STRONG as an Ogre she could easily take good care of all the Puffle Chickens :)

…And then they lived Happily ever after :) OR…

I met Gary in Server Beanie :)

Today I met Gary after waiting a little more than an hour in Server Beanie TOGETHER with Friends :) Hahaas22 has used the Vanishing Potion and added a Red Nose on me…LOL :)

…The long waiting is FUN TOGETHER with Friends :)

...HURRAY! Gary is HERE :) Greeting wizards, oh my! Observe the transformations, Such wondrous transformations, The puffle dragon is an intriguing creature! What do you think we’ll discover next? I can’t wait to turn into a mega creature…

…Please try to make a potion :) We need data for this experiment. Okay…Done :) Look! I’m transformed into a Unicorn Puffle :)

…Imagine! Turning into a fantastic beast! Okay…That would be interesting Gary…LOL :)

…Be careful when mixing ingredients, Mistakes can turn a wizard fowl ha ha…We must gather the ingredients. Now we shall go to the Fairy Glenn meet me there!
