Penguin Cup Champions! Making Music!

Hooray for the Sharks! By Aunt Arctic — Congratulations to the Sharks! Every team gave it their all, but the first ever Penguin Cup champions are the Sharks! It was a great tournament thanks to all the players and fans.

After all the goals, all the celebrations, and all the orange slices, we have our winners! You can't say that the Sharks had an easy time of it. But they stuck to it, and now they're the Penguin Cup champions! The team was overjoyed at their win, and proudly displayed their trophies in the Pizza Parlor. Fans also brought their blue puffles out to celebrate. Now that the matches are all over, I want to thank the CPSN reporters, camera crews, and anchors. You did a great job!

DJ K-Dance mixes some beats. By Cadence  — When I was mixing the song for Penguin Cup, I had a total lightbulb moment! Like BING! I kept thinking about all u musicians on the island and how u want 2 get ur music out there. So I got my peeps from the Penguin Band over, and we started jamming. We’ve got a plan that’s totes SWEET!!! On July 17, we’re gonna launch SoundStudio. U’ll be able 2 make WAY more songs AND hear them at the Dance Club. It sounds like music is in the air right now. If you want to make noise, head to the Lighthouse. Look for the box of instruments by the stairs. Members can pick up guitars, trumpets, drumsticks, keytars, and more!

What instruments do the Penguin Band play now? – Frank E. Fan
Penguin Band have played a lot of instruments over the years. Flute, banjo, stand-up bass, and accordion. They love to try new styles, especially Petey K. Right now the band plays guitar, bass, drums, and also the keyboard.

How did Cadence start out?  – Goss Ipper
Cadence was always passionate about dancing and music. But she first came on our radar when she performed at a Dance-a-thon in 2009. Since then, she’s blown up into a superstar. She sings, writes songs, mixes as a DJ, and even puts on fashion shows. She’s worked with some big stars, including the Penguin Band. Now Cadence has amped up the energy that made everyone notice her, and she’s always up for flash mob dance parties.
