Party invitation: Let the Chattabox Snow Fort Challenge Commence!

This is a message by Chattabox: G’Day Penguins, Last week’s Frozen party was definitely my favourite meet up so far! We all headed to Elsa’s Ice Palace to watch her perform and sang along… THEN, we all dressed as Olaf and danced around. It was so epic! (Picture BUG!)

This month’s furniture catalogue is full of Snowy, Frozen fun! So I have decided to build a massive Snow Fort in my igloo – n’ice’! I would like to invite you all along to have a huge snowball fight in The Chattabox Snow Fort. There are 2 teams: Team Summer and Team Winter. Pick your team and dress to impress… and watch out for special igloo surprises! Let's meet in the Forest on the Down Under server on Thursday 4th September. Here are the times:

4pm East Australian Standard Time
6pm New Zealand Standard Time
11pm Penguin Standard Time on Wednesday 3rd August for everyone over in the US and Canada
7am on Thursday 4th August for my pals in the UK.

The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen :)

Right now Disney’s Frozen with Elsa the Snow Queen is here in Club Penguin BUT Disney was indeed NOT the inventor of this story nor the first one to tell it. Frozen is based on a fairy tale named "Snedronningen" by the Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen that lived between 1805 – 1875. The Snow Queen (Snedronningen) is a story about Gerda and Kai and how they dealt with Good and Evil. You can read more about the original story here The Snow Queen. This story has been told again and again during the years and here is a trailer from 2012 by Wizart Animation:

…Hans Christian Andersen was indeed an amazing story teller and he is the author of many stories including one of my favorites The Little Mermaid :) One day I would like to go to Copenhagen and see the statue of her :) Who knows maybe she will wave to me…LOL :)
